legado andalusí
El legado andalusí is a Foundation belonging to the Regional Government of Andalusia and with the participation of the Spanish Government. The Honorary President is H.M. Juan Carlos I, King of Spain and the Executive President is the President of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Mr. Manuel Chaves. The aim of the organization is to valorize and disseminate Spain's cultural heritage, with particular emphasis on the Hispano-Muslim period and concentrating, above all, on the mutual and fertile influences of the Mediterranean area throughout the centuries. The Foundation has the backing of the Unesco, the European Council, the Spanish Agency for International Co-operation (AECI) and various institutions both public and private.
