Hoda Badran (Egypt)
Hoda Badran is the Chairperson of both the Alliance for Arab Women and the Committee on the Child of the Egyptian Higher Council for Culture. The first president of the Committee on the Rights of the Child at the United Nations Centre for Human Rights, now known as the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), she has also been a special representative of Egypt to the Preparatory Committee for the Children Summit in New York, as well as UNICEF Resident Representative for Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
