The Rockefeller Brothers Fund is a philanthropic organization working to promote social change that contributes to a more just, sustainable, and peaceful world. The Fund's Peace and Security Program focuses on two objectives. First, the RBF seeks to promote responsible U.S. global engagement by supporting efforts to articulate and implement a positive new vision of the United States' role in the world. The second program emphasis is on easing destabilizing tensions between Islam and the West. Grantmaking in this program area supports efforts to contribute to the improvement of communication and understanding between Muslim and non-Muslim societies, including the United States.
